Mediation can be a crucial step in the dispute resolution process and one that will obviate the need to engage in litigation which has associated costs, both financial and emotional, as well as lack of privacy. The dynamics of litigation often make it impossible for two parties to continue their working relationship and in many cases both parties lose out.
Mediation is a genuine opportunity to resolve a dispute with the other party in a fair, compassionate, non-judging environment where the client has a major input into the solution. It is less expensive and private and is particularly suited to parties with an ongoing relationship e.g. landlord and tenant.
